Product Description
Pass & Seymour IG6300-I ivory isolated ground receptacle. Isolated ground devices have a grounding terminal that is electronically isolated from the strap to eliminate electrical interference (noise) in grounding networks that can cause problems in modern electronics. It is Specification Grade, NEMA 5-20R, 2-pole, 3-wire, isolated ground, back and side wired, 20A 125V. Features include:
- Triple-wipe contacts ensure lasting, positive contact with plug blades
- IG symbol, and molded-in "Isolated Ground" markings for easy I.D. and circuit delineation
- Nylon strap on top eliminates potential contact with isolated ground
- Plastic barrier isolates grounding terminal from mounting strap and conduit
- Side wired and back wired with internal screw-pressure-plate back wire - accepts #14 - #10 AWG copper or copper-clad or stranded wire
- Auto-ground clip assures positive ground
- High-impact resistant nylon face resists impacts and scrapes
