Product Description

Eaton TWRSGF20W white tamper & weather resistant ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) receptacle. The self-testing receptacle is NEMA 5-20R, 2-pole, 3-wire, ground fault, rated 20A 125V at receptacle with a 20A feed thru. Each is individually packaged; packaging may differ from photos. Features include:

Provides compliance with 2017 NEC Article 406.9 that states that all receptacles installed in wet and damp locations must be weather resistant
Performs periodic self-tests to ensure integrity of GFCI protection
Shutter mechanism inside the receptacle blocks access to the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted, helping ensure hairpins, keys, etc., will be locked out
Patented correct wiring/trip indicator light visibly signals proper line-to-load connections - to prevent installation errors
Longer, wider "bridged" strap provides 40% more contact area with wallboard, virtually eliminating floating installations
20 amp feed-through allows full protection of downstream receptacles when wired from load side
8 separate backwiring holes accept up to #10AWG stranded wire, for maximum flexibility
