Product Description

Ardee Lighting 800.0900.120 transformer. Please note that this just has the primary coil at the top; there are no coils present in the bottom as you would usually find on one of these models. I assume that it was like this so that it could be configured in the field to the proper output voltage. This only includes what is shown in the photos. Features include:

Rated 120VAC 900W. For use with low voltage magnetic lighting. Please note that this only has the primary coil as shown in the photos - I assume that this was to that it could be custom configured in the field
800 Series power supply centers produce precise voltage regulation to prevent over or under driving a lamp. This maintains proper lamp output, color, and lamp life.
Dual tap toroidal transformer - utilizes two primary taps. Loads may be connected to one of the primary taps up to the full wattage rating of the power supply center. The advantage is that the power supply can be tapped to recover voltage drop and produce between 85-100% light output.
More energy efficient than standard electromagnetic core and coil transformers and therefore generates less heat.
Can be loaded to capacity, no need to de-rate the load as in other transformers.
18 gauge welded steel (15"l x 10"w x 5.25"d) with 9 knockouts/circuit breaker slots.
Built-in mounting bracket is designed for easy installation for both 6 planes of surface mounting and suspension by two 1/4" threaded rods.
White powder coat finish.
