Product Description
Cooper 6461W white touch pad remote dimmer. Gold colored touch plate for a sleek hi tech look. True 3-way control; allows MULTIPLE dimmers to control a single fixture. Standard "3-way" dimmers only allow dimming control from one location and require that the other location be controlled with a 3-way ON/OFF switch. With this remote dimmer and the Eagle 6460 Master Dimmer you can dim from two , three, or even four locations (see wiring diagram below). Please note that this is the remote only and it cannot be used alone in single pole applications; doing so will burn it out. Features include:
- Just a Touch - Simple touch control of switching and dimming functions provides ergonomically simple control that requires no manual dexterity
- Preset feature - allows user to maintain previously set lighting level without readjustment
- True multi-location dimming ? this remote dimmer allows complete control of lamps from several locations (2, 3, or 4 locations) using standard 3-way wiring with the addition of an Eagle 6460 Master Dimmer. Completely retrofittable. Please note that this is a remote only and cannot be used in single pole applications
- Back wire feature for easy installation
- Large wraparound strap eliminates need for de-rating in multi-gang installations
- Air gap on/off switch for servicing fixture
- Built-in Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) filter
