Product Description
Eaton SGF20A almond self-testing GFCI receptacle with color matching standard size wallplate and with LED indicators on the face. Specification Grade, NEMA 5-20R, back and side wired, rated 20A-125V at receptacle and 20A-125V feed-through. Each is individually packaged; packaging may differ from photo. Features include:
- Performs periodic self tests to ensure integrity of GFCI protection if no ground-fault protection is detected, the device will trip, will not reset and the status indicator light will glow amber
- Two visual indicator LED lights on face give quick notification of a tripped or “end of life” condition
- Line-load miswiring protection: GFCIs will not provide power downstream when wired incorrectly
- When downstream receptacles are wired from load side, a 20 amp feed-through rating offers full protection
- Test and reset buttons are color matched to provide superior aesthetics; horizontal test/reset button alignment provides larger unobstructed area
- Automatic grounding system eliminates need for bonding jumper in grounded metal enclosure, provides redundant measure of ground continuity where jumper is used
- Longer, wider "bridge" strap provides 40% more contact area with wallboard, virtually eliminating floating installations
- Exclusive built-in wire stripper provides fast stripping of wire without tools
- Rugged construction provides unsurpassed chemical and impact resistance
- Ground termination with back wire clamp provides secure wiring and reduces installation time
- Line side terminals are backed out and staked for fast installation
- Tri-combo head terminal and mounting screws
- Tapered back wire openings handle multiple wire sizes and types for applications up to #10 AWG solid or stranded wire
- Meets and exceeds 10 kA short circuit testing and Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 2006 UL943 safety standards
- Includes color matching standard size wallplate, measuring 2.75"w X 4.50"h
