Product Description

Bryant/Hubbell 5262IGB brown straight blade receptacle (Bryant is a division of Hubbell). Tech-Spec Industrial Specification Grade, NEMA 5-15R, 2-pole, 3-wire, isolated ground, rated 15A 125V. Isolated ground devices have a grounding terminal that is electronically isolated from the strap to eliminate electrical interference (noise) in grounding networks that can cause problems in modern electronics. Grounding of this device requires that an isolated ground path be established from the receptacle grounding terminal to a suitable equipment grounding point "upstream" from the device. Each is individually packaged; packaging may differ from photo. Features include:

Full-face, wraparound design is molded of high-impact, chemical-resistant nylon. Wraparound, full-face design will not come off under stress. Overlapping, thick walled nylon face and base construction is virtually unbreakable. Interior walls isolate and support contacts while overlapping design provides excellent arc and tracking resistance
Extended barrier (shroud) on sides of cover surround wire terminals for added insulation and isolation of conductors
Heavy-duty 0.050" steel yoke is wrapped around receptacle and locked in place for maximum mechanical strength and security
Double-plated yoke (nickel & brass) for superior corrosion resistance
Back wiring: eight wiring pockets for convenient feed thru wiring, clamp-type terminals accept up to #10 wire
Terminal screws: brass combination Phillips/slotted/Robertson binding head accepts up to #10 wire
Approved for CU wire only
Large green, combination Phillips/slotted/Robertson hex head grounding screw
Back wire ground clamp for quick and convenient wiring
Center splined bushing interlocks with receptacle body to prevent rotation when fastening wall plates
