Product Description

Leviton 488 white plunger fluorescent lampholder for use with high-output T-8 and T-12 lamps. High output, 800mA recessed double contact (horizontal orientation), rated 660 Watts 600V AC. This is the plunger-end lampholder and should be paired with a Leviton #489 if you are replacing both holders on the fixture. Bulk packed loose with no individual packaging or instructions. Features include:

Screw mount, pedestal design
Screw terminals located in deeply-recessed wiring chambers; wireways permit straight-in wiring; permanently hinged cover over terminals
Silver-plated recessed double contacts for use with T8 and T12 800mA High Output (HO) and 1500mA Very High Output (VHO) fluorescent lamps - R17d base
Suitable for outdoor applications when properly enclosed
