Product Description
Pass & Seymour 2097GRY gray GFCI receptacle for use with PlugTail prewiring harnesses. Please note that PlugTail Wiring Harnesses are NOT included. You must purchase the particular style that you want in order to install this outlet. The wiring harness are installed when wire is first pulled throughout the house. After the finish construction is done, the outlet is "plugged" into the PlugTail wiring harness (sold separately) which has been prewired into each box. Factory terminated devices and connectors mean that device installation is the same regardless of the skill of the installer. The UL-Listed connectors are keyed to ensure proper wiring installation into each receptacle. The connector simply snaps into the back of the device - no preparing, stripping or looping conductors, no exposed terminals to tighten or tape. The Radiant collection self-test GFCI conducts an automatic test every three seconds, ensuring it's always ready to protect. If the device fails the test, the indicator light flashes to signal that the GFCI should be replaced. It also has our proven SafeLock Protection feature: if critical components are damaged and protection is lost, power to the receptacle is disconnected. Trademaster/Spec Grade, self-testing, NEMA 5-20R, back and side wired, rated 20A-125V at receptacle (no feed-thru capability). Each is individually packaged; packaging may differ from photo. Features include:
- Requires PlugTail wiring harness (purchased separately) for installation - you must purchase the style of wiring harness that you need for your particular installation. This outlets is compatible with the following wiring harnesses: PTRA6STR or PTRA6SOL
- No feed-thru capability to downstream receptacles - GFCI works with the existing 3-wire PlugTail connectors creating a non-feed-thru application for facility owners. At rough-in just install the same right angle connector for GFCI and receptacle openings
- Conducts an automatic test every three seconds, ensuring it's always ready to protect. If the device fails the test, the indicator light flashes to signal that the GFCI should be replaced.
- SafeLock protection feature: if critical components are damaged and protection is lost, power to the receptacle is disconnected
- Thinner than competitors' GFCI Receptacles: leaves more room for wires in the box
- Auto-Ground clip assures a positive ground to metal box
- Prevents line-load reversal miswire: no power to the face if wired incorrectly
- Trip indicator light (red LED)
- Side or internal screw-pressure-plate back wire with #10-#14 AWG solid or stranded copper wire
